Veteran Support Services

Veteran Support Services at Wraparound RVA were built by a war veteran who has personally navigated the maze of benefits, employment, and civilian reintegration. We prioritize veterans as a core population while also coordinating with families, caregivers, and agencies that walk this road alongside them.

Many of the veterans we serve arrive feeling worn down by years of denials, unclear communication, or jobs that do not match their skills. Our role is to translate complex systems into plain language, organize the paperwork, and stand with you as you advocate for what you have earned.

This service area includes:
- Veteran claims assistance, including organizing records, clarifying required evidence, and coordinating with trusted advocates to strengthen filings and appeals.
- Peer support groups where veterans can talk openly with others who understand military culture, trauma, and transition without judgment.
- Job placement support that honors your military experience, connects you with reasonable accommodations when needed, and focuses on sustainable, meaningful work.
- Business startup support for veterans exploring entrepreneurship, including guidance on planning, compliance basics, and identifying realistic first milestones.
- Reintegration resources that link you to housing, credit, wellness, and community networks so you are not rebuilding in isolation.
